Where FreedomPay fits
FreedomPay is built for operations that run more than one system. It sits between the property management system, the point of sale, the ticketing platform or the kiosk and the acquirer that settles the funds, so payments across lanes and outlets run through one layer with one set of reporting.
FreedomPay can be a gateway solution that is a great fit for many businesses, and when it fits we recommend it as one option among several. Kubera also deploys merchant accounts to support FreedomPay gateways.
How we deploy FreedomPay
Kubera is closely partnered with FreedomPay. We help you set FreedomPay up and support you through activation, deployment and implementation end to end, then deploy the merchant account behind the gateway, fitted to your card mix and volume and quoted in writing.
We handle the gateway configuration for each lane and outlet, the reporting your controller reconciles against, and training for the staff who will use the system. The cutover is scheduled around your operations so there is no downtime during the update process. Lane series terminals such as the Lane/3600 and Lane/7000 are common on FreedomPay installs, and the device for each lane is confirmed during planning.
Oracle OPERA and Oracle MICROS Simphony both connect to FreedomPay, and each has its own page: Oracle OPERA for the front desk and the folio, and Oracle MICROS for the floor and the outlets.
Moving to FreedomPay, or already running it
Most of the businesses we support are integrating FreedomPay as part of a wider systems update, usually a new property management system, point of sale or ticketing platform. We run the analysis, recommend FreedomPay when it is the right fit, and shepherd the integration and deployment as a single point of contact. If that is your operation, FreedomPay is often the right technical fit, and we deploy the merchant account to support it.
If you run a single counter on an off the shelf POS, a simpler deployment may serve you better, and we will say so. The recommendation is the right fit for how you run, not the cheapest line on a quote.

Is Kubera a FreedomPay partner or reseller?
Yes. Kubera is closely partnered with FreedomPay and supports deployments for organizations across North America.
Does our POS or property management system change?
Not necessarily. We often deploy FreedomPay for businesses that are updating their property management system, and FreedomPay can also fit the system you run today. We support either deployment.
Which terminals run on FreedomPay?
Lane series terminals such as the Lane/3600 and Lane/7000 are common on FreedomPay installs. The device for each lane is confirmed during planning, fitted to how that lane runs.
Can you deploy across several outlets or properties?
Yes. Multi outlet and multi property deployments are common on FreedomPay, and we price each outlet on its own transaction profile rather than averaging the group.
Is there downtime during the cutover?
The changeover is scheduled around your operations, so there is no downtime during the update process. Staff keep the screens they know throughout.
